This studio-based course is designed to explore aspects of Landscape painting and drawing using a mix of water-based media. Suitable for both beginners and those with some experience, the focus will be on interpreting the observed landscape through an expressive and experimental lens, whilst retaining a truth to nature. Using photos and drawings as source material, students are encouraged to build on their imagery with some short exercises in visual research, given before and during the two-day course. A materials list and the suggested exercises will be given upon enrolment.

Painting In Tuscany
